Job Title: Marketing Manager
Report to: General Manager
Based in Beijing, China
Job Purpose:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning and implementing a range of marketing activities in order to meet revenue targets and development objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Market research
a. Gathering facts and figures to support key sales messages.
b. Finding information to establish key target markets for sales prospecting.
2. Customer research
a. Understanding customer needs to help improve events and service levels year on year.
b. Establishing demand for events across a portfolio.
3. Event promotion
a. Planning advertising campaigns online and on the page
b. Creating and sending targeted email campaigns.
c. Maintain and implement improvements to event/office website.
4. Sales support
a. Write and manage the creative and print of sales materials (brochures, leaflets, pdf,documents etc.)
b. Prepare presentations for sales staff when required.
c. Help sales staff to better understand the key sales messages (e.g. benefits of doing business in our markets, benefits of exhibiting, benefits of working with ITE etc.)
5. Lead generation
a. Find new data for sales prospecting that fits the defined customer profile (e.g. from competitive events, advertisers in relevant media, catalogues or directories, list brokers)
b. Generate leads through email campaigns.
c. Analyze the quality and quantity of leads generated to maximize future sales opportunities.
6. Media relations
a. Compile press databases for all relevant events
b. Write and distribute press releases according to the press plan or when news opportunities arise.
c. Assist with creating and fulfilling contra deals with media partners.
The Marketing Manager should:
· Properly plan each marketing campaign and ensure that the campaign works seamlessly with the event sales campaigns.
· Take great care to work within brand guidelines and be sympathetic to graphic designs used to promote events locally and around the world.
· Tailor promotion for their own market but support brand consistency through messages as well as design by using key benefits, claims, features and statistics that are consistent with those used throughout the group.
· Be aware of, and work within local and international laws surrounding issues such as copyright, intellectual property and data protection.
· Work closely with managers, sales staff and other team members to seek improvements in event promotion year on year.
· Establish close links with relevant suppliers (e.g. designers, printers, web developers) to maintain high standards of work within agreed budgets.
· Assist with new product development when required.
· Perform ad hoc duties when required.
Key skills:
· Exceptional communicator –especially copywriting
· Creative – able to take basic facts and make a compelling proposition
· Analytical – understand markets, trends, facts, statistics etc. to guide and direct marketing campaigns, and ensure that the company's relevant publicity is compliant and legal
·Proficient in Mandarin and English, knowledge of Russian will be a plus.
·Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD, Photoshop related software operations
·Enjoy domestic and international travel
Experience required:
- At least 5 years’ experience of working in a B2B marketing role with at least 2 years in a marketing management role
- Knowledge of the trade exhibitions/conferences sector is desirable but not essential
- An understanding of the B2B media environment is essential
-The candidate must have some experience of working closely with sales staff, designers, printers and web developers/designers

通過電子郵件擴展銷售市場
對銷售市場進行質量和數量的分析,最大限度的為將來提供銷售機會
? 媒體關系
對所有展會的媒體資料進行編譯
根據刊登計劃或者新聞事件撰寫并刊登新聞稿件
協助建立并完成與媒體的合作伙伴的合同
市場總監職責:
? 妥善規劃每個展會活動,確保展會銷售活動進展完美順利。
? 采取謹慎的態度在品牌指導下開展工作,統一的進行圖形設計,用于開展當地及世界各地的展會宣傳。
? 為他們自己的市場量身制定宣傳方式,但是要維護品牌的一致性,通過相關信息,關鍵利益,要求和特點以及統計數據進行設計,與整個集團保持一致。
? 注意,在當地和國際法律允許下開展工作,如版權,知識產權和數據保護。
? 與管理人員,銷售人員和其他團隊成員密切聯系,每年尋求改進展會的推廣工作。
? 與相關供應商建立密切聯系(如設計人員,印刷公司,網絡開發人員)在預算范圍之內保持高標準的工作質量。
? 必要時協助新產品的開發。
? 必要時完成特殊職責。
