NACIS is looking for a Head of Boarding to develop and support the weekly boarding offering at NACIS by providing programs, services and opportunities to promote student personal and artistic development through creating a holistic community that is conducive to student learning and individual development.

Position Objectives:崗位目標
61 Strategic leadership and development of Boarding which supports the philosophy, aims and policies of the School, and promotes a high level of achievement in all areas of Boarding life.
61 Recognising and responding sensitively to Cultural differences.
61 Ensuring a visible and active presence in the Boarding community and Dorms in order to develop a relationship with all boarders.
61 Establishing, building and maintaining positive relationships between Boarding staff, Teaching staff, Students and Parents.
61 Having the welfare of students in the boarding dorms as paramount concern.
61 Acting in ‘Loco Parentis’ and in line with school safeguarding and Health and Safety procedures at all times.
61 Promoting the school as a caring and nurturing environment dedicated to the well-being and education of students.
61 Understanding the complex dynamics between parents/family and Boarding staff relationships and working to bridge the gaps where necessary.
61 Working in the best interests of the school.

61 了解父母、家庭和寄宿員工關系之間的復雜動態,并在必要時消除隔閡;
61 為學校的***利益而工作;
Key Tasks and Expected Outcomes:主要任務及預期工作產出:
61 Oversee the work of the Boarding Team (the Ayis, Dorm Mentors and the Resident Teachers) and meet with them regularly to discuss Boarding matters and ensure consistency between Dormitories, particularly in relation to Boarding Regulations and welfare issues.
61 Responsible for leading and managing all members of the Boarding Team.
61 Direct the Dorm support staff in the execution of their duties, in liaison with the Nurse and Health Centre, Facilities/ Security team and Catering Manager.
61 To be responsible for the daily routines and duties involved in the smooth running of the Boarding Dorms to ensure physical and emotional welfare needs of the students are met.
61 To direct and guide the Boarding Department in creating a varied and enriching Boarding Program which expands students’ academic, social and interpersonal skills.
61 Inform and consult the Senior Leadership Team of serious pupil breaches of discipline or good conduct. Maintain a record of punishments awarded.
61 Represent the interest and needs of the Boarding community to the Senior Leadership Team and play a leading advisory role in the long-term development of Boarding.
61 Updating and maintaining the Boarding Development and QA (Quality Assurance) plans for NACIS.

61 更新和維護NACIS的寄宿發展和QA(質量保證)計劃。
Qualifications and Requirements 崗位要求:
1.Excellent English, bachelor degree or above. 本科及以上學歷,英文可作為工作語言
2.Previous experience of being a Head of Boarding is a must. 需要有2年以上同崗位工作經驗
3.A professional, proactive and adaptable approach to work with a can-do attitude. 專業、主動并且適應性高
4.Work as part of a team and independently 有團隊合作精神,也能獨立工作
5.Commitment to the personal welfare and safeguarding of children 對兒童安全保護負責
